Living traditions and underground worlds

Located in the north of Ibiza, the village of San Miguel thrives on living traditions. In the summer months takes place every Thursday evening at 18:At around 15 p.m. there is a folklore evening on the church square, which is well worth a visit.

In the bay of Puerto de San Miguel, below the village, there is the imposing stalactite cave Cova de Can Marca. Smugglers once discovered this stalactite cave, which is more than 100.000 years old, and used it as a hiding place for their smuggled goods.

The cave's stalactites and stalagmites are colorful and rich in shapes. There are regular German-language tours that are accompanied by music and special light effects.

A visit to the stalactite cave is a special experience and one of the most popular excursions on Ibiza. Open daily from 10:30 - 20:00 h.
