Description
One of the most famous photo motifs in Portugal are the rocks of the Ponta da Piedade near Lagos, which were formed by the forces of nature. They are best viewed from the water side.
The Via Sagres takes you from the port of Lagos out to sea, along the impressive coastline to the caves of the Ponta da Piedade. Here you drive through the bizarre world of caves and past the rock formations (depending on the weather), some of which appear to you like works of art with different motifs.
After the boat trip, enjoy three hours of free time in the city of Lagos - one of the most beautiful cities in the western Algarve, which used to be the starting point of many discoveries.
