Description
Via Los Valles you drive to Haria, into the valley of 1000 palm trees. This is the most fertile and greenest part of the island. Enjoy a spectacular panoramic view from the Mirador del Rio viewpoint of the small island of La Graciosa and the offshore islands.
Passing the Monte Corona volcano, you go to the Jameos del Agua, another work of art by the artist Cesar Manrique, who has so much shaped the island's image. This grotto is one of his most important works. Feel the harmony between nature and culture here.
If you have enough time, you can also visit an aloe vera farm.
The journey continues through the cities of Mala and Guatiza. In this landscape, shaped by cactus plantations, lives the Cochinilla louse, which produces the red dye for Campari.
