Description
After your hotel pickup, this excursion departs from Los Cristianos Port in Tenerife by ferry to San Sebastián de La Gomera, the island's port and capital. At this point the ascent to Garajonay National Park begins. This paradise of dense laurel forests is a designated nature reserve and World Heritage Site. You'll make a stop at the Degollada de Peraza viewpoint, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of the island.
The tour continues through La Palmita directly into the national park until you reach the small towns of Las Rosas and Agulo. There you will have time for lunch in a typical Gomeran restaurant, where you will receive a live demonstration of the famous Silbo Gomero, a special method of communication.
The return journey is through the Hermigua Valley towards San Sebastián, where you can see the last historical fortresses of the Christopher Columbus Pass.
