New and exclusive in the DER Touristik program
First you drive to the capital Santa Cruz. As part of a short city tour, the exclusively German-speaking guide explains the highlights of the city before you explore Santa Cruz on your own.
Afterwards you drive on adventurous paths into the legendary Anaga Mountains. In the local nature park you can enjoy fantastic vantage points and the cool air in one of the last primeval forests in Europe.
This tour includes a very special lunch. The Bodega Alvaro alone, where the lunch break takes place, is worth a visit. More than 100.000 wine bottles bear witness to the work of a traditional winemaker family. Of course, you can also taste their products with a typical Canarian lunch.
In the afternoon, freshly strengthened, we head to the first and still the most beautiful tourist metropolis on the island, Puerto de la Cruz. Stroll down to the port and take a little tour of the city: Stroll past the Rincón del Viento with its famous view of Lago Martianez, the City Hall, Plaza Europa with the walls of the old Santa Bárbara Castle, the pier, Plaza del Charco and Puerto Viejo.
Finally, visit the small town of Icod de los Vinos. Among other things, the supposedly 1000-year-old dragon tree awaits you there. After a final stroll through this historic town, you'll drive back to the south coast and be dropped off at your hotels.
The North Tour is an unforgettable day trip including lunch and drinks with meal that takes you to all the highlights of Tenerife North.
