Destination Manager (f/m/d)

Your tasks

  • Actively design professional and customer-oriented guest service together with an internationally active tour guide team
  • Take over the management, coaching and training of our dynamic tour guide team.
  • Be the central interface between our tour guide organization, the partner agencies in the destination area and the organizer, and be responsible for efficient administrative processes.
  • Monitor service level agreements (SLA) with our local partners, ensure maximum customer satisfaction and master professional complaint management.
  • Analyze, monitor and report on-site performance, including budget, quality and other KPIs, and drive continuous improvement processes
  • Support the implementation of attractive and customer-oriented leisure activities for our guests
  • Be the face of our company, maintain contacts and take responsibility for how our company is perceived internally and externally.
  • Ensure compliance with cross-company issues such as compliance, data protection, labor and travel law through monitoring, training and ensuring best practices.

Your profile

  • You have professional experience in a comparable position at an tour operator, travel agency or in a destination agency.
  • Your professional and self-confident appearance, coupled with strong communication skills in German and English, make you a convincing communication professional. Additional language skills are an advantage.
  • You have intercultural competence and prefer working in an international environment.
  • You have already gained experience in human resources management – ​​remotely, internationally, professionally and disciplinarily.
  • Working independently and being resilient, even in challenging situations such as natural disasters or crises, are a given for you.
  • Her strong social skills are characterized by empathy and team orientation.
  • You impress us with your analytical thinking skills and your proficiency with MS Office and other applications is one of your strengths
  • As a flexible team player, you can work worldwide and hold an international driving license class 3 (B) for automatic and gearshift.
  • You are an EU or Swiss citizen with a valid ID card or passport.
