Picturesque bays like pearls on a string

Cala d'Or
The place on the east coast of the island enchants with a very charming flair. It stretches over five beautiful, fine-sand rocky bays, and in summer is a lively, elegant meeting place with many boutiques, bars and terrace cafes. Everything can be easily reached on foot or by bike, and a mini-train runs in summer. In the midsummer months there are beach bars, as well as sun loungers and parasols for hire, as well as water sports. The beautiful golf course of Vall d'Or is very close by.

Cala Figuera
The beautiful fishing village is located on a deeply cut bay in the southeast of Mallorca. The place itself is located above the picturesque harbor and extends into the plain. There are numerous sophisticated summer houses on the rocky slopes of the bay. Younger guests in particular get their money's worth here, as the gastronomy and nightlife are geared towards the needs of young people.

Cala Mandia
Cala Mandia is located on a headland, bordered by the two beautiful bathing bays of Cala Estany, also called Cala Romantica, and the bay of the same name, Cala Mandia. There are mostly private villas and some hotel or club complexes with a wide range of sports. Only a few shops and restaurants are located here, otherwise there is absolute peace. The well-known stalactite dragon caves Cuevas del Drach ensure lively excursion traffic during the day. In the evening there is a typical Spanish atmosphere here.

Porto Cristo
The old, romantic, typical Mallorcan fishing village is located on the east coast of Mallorca. Only a few kilometers south you can still find almost untouched bathing bays that were only opened up a few years ago. The original cityscape is still preserved in Porto Cristo. Because of its unique caves (Cuevas del Drach) Porto Cristo is also a popular destination.

Coves of Mallorca
A number of pretty little bays on the cliffs between Cala Murada and Cala Magraner are grouped under this name. The southern part of Calas de Mallorca is entirely dedicated to tourism. There is a wide range of hotels and entertainment options here. The northern part, on the other hand, is mainly inhabited by Mallorcans. It is about 10 km to Porto Colom.

Portocolom
Away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, the small, idyllic fishing village between Cala d'Or and Porto Cristo is a true paradise, especially for nature lovers. A summer residence for the Mallorcans, especially popular in July and August, who then celebrate their fiestas in the main square of Porto Colom. The old town center lies on both sides of the harbor basin. Local fishing boats frolic there alongside comfortable yachts. Especially in the evenings there is a touch of romance at the harbor. The new district is mostly located on a peninsula and along the Cala Marsal. Here, especially in the midsummer months, water sports are very important. The small bay of Cala S'Algar is still largely untouched. There is little night life, but there are excellent fish restaurants and cozy bars.

Colonia Sant Jordi
The wonderful, kilometer-long natural sandy beach Es Trenc and the adjacent nature reserve form the background for a quiet and relaxing holiday in the small holiday resort of Colonia Sant Jordi. On one side of the village are the beaches of Es Carbo and Es Dols. These invite you to sunbathe, swim and take long walks. There are also water sports (in the midsummer months) such as windsurfing. The very nice cafes and bars as well as the typical restaurants with tasty fish dishes are also inviting. During the day there is a regular bus service to Palma.

Cala Millor
This modern and lively resort is located on the east coast, on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island (3 km long), surrounded by beautiful countryside. The wide, beautifully designed beach promenade with palm trees and flowers is closed to traffic. The center of Cala Millor has been redesigned in recent years and now consists largely of a pedestrian zone. Many shops, dance halls, bars and restaurants invite you to stroll and linger. The wonderful, gently sloping sandy beach is perfect for a holiday with children. From bike rentals to donkey carriage rides to the mini train that goes to Sa Coma or Cala Bona, there are many interesting activities on offer here. The nearest golf course, the 9-hole Costa de los Pinos course, is about 6 km away. During the day there are good regular bus connections to other places on the island.

Cala Bona
Cala Bona is a bit quieter than Cala Millor. There are small bathing bays sloping gently into the sea, shops of all kinds, cafés, bars and restaurants, moped and bicycle rentals. Tennis, golf and water sports are very important. Golfers go to Costa de los Pinos (9-hole course) or to Canyamel (18-hole course), tennis players use the beautiful sports center with many clay courts. The rocky coast of Costa de los Pinos, which is interrupted by sandy bathing bays, is surrounded by pine forests.

Sa Coma
South of Cala Millor is Sa Coma, a modern resort with a wide range of leisure and entertainment options. The two places are connected by a mini train or a regular bus service. A wide, curved, about 2 km long bay with a beautiful, gently sloping sandy beach characterizes the picture. Sa Coma is the ideal holiday destination for holidays with children, but also for those who are active in sports, who will find an excellent offer in the Sa Coma Playa sports club. In addition to water sports, there are also sun lounger and parasol rentals on the beach in midsummer. The beach is lined by a well-kept promenade that invites you to stroll. Furthermore, the place offers its guests shops, supermarkets, restaurants and pubs.

The Punta de N'Amer Nature Reserve
The area around N'Amer is ideal for long walks and bike rides. At the tip of this protected peninsula is a café that invites you to take a break and offers guests an incomparable view of the bay of Cala Millor. Sports facilities such as mini golf, tennis, squash and horse riding as well as moped and bicycle rentals are offered on site. The nearest golf courses are Costa de los Pinos and Canyamel. Nearby is the Reserva Africana Safari Park, a large outdoor enclosure for African animals.
