A unique church with a wonderful view

At 358 m, Monte Toro is the highest peak in Menorca.

Monte Toro is also understood as meaning the church of the same name and associated buildings, which Augustinian monks began to build at the end of the 16th century when they made the "Mother of God of the Bull" (Toro) - whose worship dates back to the Middle Ages - the patron saint of Menorca.

The interior of the church is particularly worth seeing. Note the relationship of the nave to the dome, with its soft, natural lighting, and the arch that frames the nave. Classic stylistic elements with their orderly character emphasize the beauty of the interior.

The façade of the monastery courtyard with its many arches is reminiscent of a typical farmhouse. The entrance portal of the church is particularly beautiful. Recently, the church has been completely, very carefully and faithfully restored.
