Between Tramuntana and sunny days

Menorca enjoys a temperate climate with hot summers and mild winters. Spring and autumn tend to be unstable. This fact is due to the different winds that blow here. The biggest influence is probably the Tramuntana - a cold, dry wind that crosses the Alps and comes to Menorca through the Rhône Valley and the Gulf of Lyon.

Menorca has a humidity of about 70% and an average of 300 days of sunshine a year. The average temperature is 12-15°C in winter and 25-30°C in summer. The rainy months are October and November, with most of the rain falling in the north. July is the driest month.
