The big clubs celebrate the start of the season in June with big opening parties. The no less wild closing parties take place in September. We particularly recommend the popular and well-known clubs that we introduce below:
The Amnesia is halfway between Ibiza town and Sant Antoni de Portmany, near the village of Sant Rafel. It started as an open-air disco in the past, but is now covered. The legendary Cream and Cocoon parties, which take place in cooperation with the Liverpool cult disco Cream and Sven Väth, are celebrated here. Foam parties are also held here on some days.
The Pacha - The oldest and most famous disco on the island is located near Ibiza Town and is very popular with both international guests and locals. The Pacha became famous with glamorous hippie parties, which still take place on a few days today. The so-called flower power parties are definitely the highlight of the summer. With the increasing popularity of electronic music, the Pacha became known worldwide for good house music - in recent years the club has also expanded its music repertoire to include R'n'B and hip-hop sounds.
The Es Paradis Club was founded in 1975 and is probably one of the most beautiful clubs in the world. It is located in the center of Sant Antoni de Portmany opposite the port. The roof has the shape of a glass pyramid and the interior looks very elegant with its marble columns and tropical plants. The lowered dance floor is watered with sprinklers attached to the side for water parties. The great parties impress with their diverse playlists, which range from house to trance and techno to disco, old school and UK garage.
The Privilege was founded in the 70s as KU and was only renamed in 1994. The huge club has three dance arenas, a swimming pool and an excellent music system. It is located halfway between Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni de Portmany, near the village of Sant Rafel. The Privilege describes itself as “the world's biggest club”. The music ranges from breakbeat to trance to techno.
The Hi Ibiza is the newest club in Playa d'en Bossa - a state-of-the-art, exclusive party venue. It is divided into two main rooms: Theater and Club. Both have impressive light shows and the setup changes completely every night. There are also three open-air areas, lots of greenery and plants, some special comforts for VIPs including private tipi tents and even a DJ booth in the unisex toilet. The building once housed Space Ibiza and the club is now one of the most luxurious on the island with an impressive range of parties featuring residencies for some of the most well-known artists in the electronic music industry. The parties feature diverse sides of the musical spectrum of electronic dance music, including EDM, trance, disco, deep house and techno.
The Ushuaia Club offers the best option to be right in the middle of the action. The spectacular stage is the epicenter of the best day parties of the summer in Ibiza! You no longer have to wait until midnight. From the early evening you can pose next to the coolest people in Ibiza while enjoying the best music and the most fascinating multimedia shows.
