Bus - bus
There is a small bus network in Ibiza. The overland connections begin in:
Ibiza Town: Bus Terminal, Avenida Isidoro Macabich
Sta. Eulalia: Bus Terminal, Calle de la Iglesia
Sant Antoni de Portmany: Bus terminal behind C. de Ramón y Cajal (in front of the football field)

There is a small bus network on Formentera. The overland connections begin in:
the Savina
San Francisco
Playa Es Pujols
Like Mari
Playa Mitjorn (Hotel RIU, Maryland).
The connections are limited to the main towns on the island.

Safe - Caja Fuerte
There are thieves everywhere. Do not leave valuables or cash in your room or on the beach. Rent a safe at reception on the first day. This gives you a feeling of security and protects you from theft.

Electricity - Corriente
In general there are sockets with 220 V, sometimes 125 V. Please follow the instructions in your bathroom. For some sockets you need an adapter plug. You can get this either at the reception or in the nearest supermarket.

Taxi - taxi
You can order a taxi through the hotel reception or call you on the street with a wink. A free taxi can be recognized by the “Libre” sign or the green light. In the cities there are official taxi ranks, "Paradas". In Ibiza, the taxis are metered, in Formentera there are fixed prices.

Water - agua
You can safely use the tap water in the hotels to brush your teeth. It is unsuitable for drinking in large quantities. In the hotels or supermarkets there is sparkling and non-carbonated mineral water (con gas or sin gas).

Newspapers - Periódico
You can buy German newspapers and magazines in all larger hotels on the day they are published. German paperbacks can be found in the relevant shops.

The German-language island magazine "Ibiza Today" appears monthly.
