The former fishing village of Corralejo, located in the north of the elongated volcanic island, has long since developed into a tourist center. Here you will find a lively nightlife with bars, music cafes and discos. Boutiques, souvenir shops, amusement arcades and a large number of international restaurants define the cityscape.

In the south of the village there are some well-preserved volcanic craters, including the Calderon Hondo, which can be reached via a paved hiking trail.

The dune landscape of Playa de Corralejo to the south is popular with locals and guests alike.

The dune area in Parque Natural de Corralejo stretches for about eleven kilometers, extending into the hinterland and inviting you to go on long hikes. There are fine sandy beaches with a view of the neighboring islands of Lanzarote and Isla de Lobos. Regular ferry connections take you from Corralejo to the neighboring island of Lanzarote in a short time.
