The approximately 30 kilometers long, bright sandy beach of Playa de Jandía is located on the Jandía peninsula in the south of Fuerteventura, in the center of which is the town of Morro Jable.

The sandy beach and the crystal clear sea invite you to swim, surf, dive and sail; the beach area is gently sloping and is ideal for a beach holiday with children.

The beautiful beach promenade leads past the beaches of Jandía to the former fishing village of Morro Jable. During a walk along the promenade you will find the salt steppe (nature reserve), the largest salt pans in the Canary Islands, and the lighthouse of Jandía. In addition to a secured bike path, the beach promenade is also popular with runners.

In Morro Jable they have fully adjusted to tourism: Mondays to Thursdays from 09:00 to 13:00 h an African market takes place, and all sorts of interesting things are offered on the shopping mile.

The center is on the Atlantic, between two rocky hills. Narrow, little streets with cube-like concrete houses invite you to explore. Here you will find quaint pubs, excellent fish and tapas restaurants. Car ferries to and from Gran Canaria stop at the city's port every day.
