The end of the world"

This is not the end of the world, but at least the most south-westerly point of mainland Europe and undoubtedly one of the greatest geographical features of Europe.

In honor of Saint Vincent, who also gave the cape its name, there is an old chapel and the brightest lighthouse on the continent. It stands on a 100 m long, 37 m wide and 60 m high rock plateau. The lighthouse sends a beam of light 90 km out to sea for ship traffic and a full 25 km high for air traffic.
