The originally almost uninhabited coastal zone north of Sousse was transformed into a large holiday complex with over 70 hotel beds at the end of the 13.000s.
The heart of Port El Kantaoui is the state-of-the-art yacht harbor. The houses of the picturesque village of El Kantaoui are grouped directly around the harbor. Restaurants, bars, cafes, souvenir shops and fine boutiques line the harbor basin.
In front of the entrance to the marina is a small botanical garden with over 25.000 different plants and rare bird species - the Oasis Park.
The Hannibal amusement park with its giant trampoline and carousel is also a popular attraction for families.
In the late evening, Port El Kantaoui shows its special side. The illuminated harbor, the large and small ships swaying quietly in the water, the restaurants that have something to offer for every taste and, last but not least, the nightlife in the bars and discos exude a special flair.
