Important components of the sea
Everyone is talking about nature, ecology and the environment these days and big projects and programs are being developed.
However, the uncertainty is great when one is confronted directly with natural life. Often one does not know the usefulness of natural conditions and sees things somewhat critically. Clarification is necessary:
Algae are natural components of the sea. The task of the algae is to ensure the natural balance of the water. It prevents the erosion of the coast and the associated destruction of the beach. These algae also grow along the coast of Tunisia and, depending on the season, reach the hotel beaches to a greater or lesser extent.
The small, round and oval balls that you may have seen within the algae are plant hairs that are formed into small balls by the movement of the water.
The algae and plant hair are carried back into the sea by the ebb and flow of the tide.
We have no right to work against nature and clear away the algae. We only have the option of covering it with sand or bringing it back into the sea ourselves.
The sea belongs to all of us and it is our job to protect it.
We therefore ask you to show understanding that we leave nature as it is given to us and use the algae to ensure a natural balance in the sea.
